Your Opportunity:

Under the supervision of, and in consultation with the department Clinical supervisor or designate, the Laboratory Technologist I is responsible to perform site specific manual and automated approved laboratory procedures and related duties following established standards of practices defined by the Alberta College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (CMLTA), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and Health Professions Act (HPA).

Description:

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Recent experience in Hematology and/or Transfusion Medicine.
