Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years in a laboratory role in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. The candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting in a supervisory or leadership role. If the successful candidate holds a Medical Laboratory Technologist/CLXT diploma, they must maintain current good standing with their regulatory body.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Proven leadership skills including team building, conflict resolution, written and verbal communication and facilitation skills. Proven ability as a change agent and project lead. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced and changing environment. Solution oriented with a focus on exercising sound judgment to creatively resolve issues with a high standard of customer service and degree of collaboration. Demonstrated understanding of organizational strategies. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making; be comfortable with taking responsibility, coaching and teaching, and have the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in Pre and Post Analytics systems. Experience in recruitment and selection. Experience in implementing and sustaining process and workflow improvements. Leadership, conflict resolution and/or change management courses or certificate. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
